Lead Pastor Rev. Greg & Shayla Unruh

Greg graduated from Millar college of the Bible in the spring of 2005 and has been working in pastoral ministry ever since. Greg met his future wife while serving in Melfort, SK. In the summer of 2009, they were married. They very quickly started the lengthy process of international adoption (South Africa). In the fall of 2013 they welcomed their son, Smangaliso into his forever home.

Greg, Shayla and Smanga were called to Banff Park Church at the beginning of 2019. They love living in the Bow Valley and having adventures with people from all over the world. Greg has a passion for both teaching people how to read and understand the Word of God, and the role of the local church in the life of a believer.

Together, Greg and Shayla are passionate about discipleship, marriage, and adoption. Smanga’s passion is learning and has an amazing ability to absorb information. Smanga’s desire to learn has rubbed off on his parents. Greg is continuing his education, working towards his Masters in Biblical Studies from Millar. Shayla has finished her formal education and is a Graphic Designer, but she is always looking for a new class to take or program to learn.

Associate Pastor Luke & Kadey Regier

Luke and Kadey are from Swift Current Saskatchewan. They met at Church of the Open Bible where they were both raised and discipled to be passionate for the Lord. Luke graduated from Millar College of the Bible in 2026 and Kadey completed the Capernwray Bible School program in Greece in 2023. They were married in August of 2025 and pursued ministry in their home church in Swift Current.

Luke and Kadey were called to Banff Park Church in the spring of 2026 and moved in September of that year to minister at the church. Luke loves to study the Bible and longs to see others worshiping God in spirit and truth. Luke desires to disciple believers in the Lord teaching them to know God, understand Scripture, love Jesus, and love others with the love that the Lord shows to His children.

Luke and Kadey love their families out in the prairies, but also love to go on new adventures, meeting new people, having coffee, and enjoying Kadey’s wonderful baking with all kinds of people. They also love worshiping the Lord through singing, and playing music with each other and others. Since they were both impacted in big ways through youth ministry, they have a passion to invest in young people and love to see the whole body of Christ grow in faith and unity with one another.
